We have been made aware that as part of ongoing contract negotiations between NZEI and the Ministry of Education this coming weekend, a 1-day teacher strike for union-member teachers may be called for Wednesday 31 May next week.
We will advise families on Monday morning whether this will take place or not, once we receive formal notification.
