Dear Parents and Caregivers
Due to the vaccine mandate for education being lifted as of 26 March 2022, schools have been advised to consult with their school community by sharing their Covid-19 Risk Analysis policy.
Over the last 2 years, our community has regularly received information about how we have managed each different level of risk within our school setting, including how we are currently managing the Traffic Light ORANGE setting.
The Draft Risk Assessment & Controls document and the Draft Covid-19 Safety Plan Assessment Tool (attached as a combined pdf), have been drafted in response to this and show how the Board will continue to manage risk, given that we can no longer identify who is vaccinated/unvaccinated. As part of this consultation, we encourage feedback/suggestions that you may like us to consider at our Term 3 Board meeting, when these guidelines will be formally adopted.
A drop-box in our school office will be available for you to place your written comments on a hard copy of either document (we can provide a printed copy on request). If you would like acknowledgement that we have received your feedback please include your name and email address.
All comments need to be received at the school office by 9am, Friday 29 July 2022.
