URGENT HELP REQUIRED!
Parent helpers for road patrols are urgently required, with spaces on every weekday to be filled. A number of our patrols parents finished at the end of last year when their child left for intermediate and we need current parents to step into this role. Padnell Crescent is a very busy road before and after school, so if you are able to assist with this, even once per week, please email ian.svela@rewarewa.school.nz .

Kia ora whānau
In term 2 we will begin teaching the NZ Curriculum Health topic “Relationships and Sexuality Programme”. Consultation for this topic was held in term 4, 2024, but for those of you who may have missed this opportunity, please find the explanation of this programme attached.
In term 2, week 5 we will begin teaching our lessons to all Yr 1-6 students. Prior to this, we will email a copy of the lesson topics, plans and timetable to all whānau, so that you are kept fully informed as to the content of these lessons.
Our main goal is that this should be a time for families to connect with their own children and share their own values and beliefs about the curriculum topics raised.
Please don’t hesitate to call us if you require any further information or support. We are here to work with you.
