Whole School Trip to Te Papa – Monday 15 May 2023
Tēnā koutou Rewa Rewa School Whānau
Our inquiry question this term is: Why do people choose to live in Aotearoa New Zealand? To answer this question we will be investigating migration in the past and present, navigation methods and the different vessels that have journeyed here from other parts of the Pacific. To build on our knowledge and understanding, Rewa Rewa School will be visiting Te Papa to explore their resources.
Everyone is Going!
This is a whole school trip. All classes will be participating.
Transport
We will be travelling by bus to Te Papa, leaving school at 9.30am and returning to school by 2pm in time for normal pick-up routines at the end of the school day.
What to Bring
- a packed lunch in a NAMED disposable bag (there will be no room for lunch boxes)
- NAMED water bottle
- Comfortable walking shoes (eg. sneakers)
- Any medications must be given to your child’s teacher before 9am on the day
